I saw Metric in concert last night. Besides being the second best show I have seen (other than the Roots), I have an insane girl crush on Emily Haines. That woman can sing, dance and engage an audience. And she is tough and tender all at the same time. I want to quit my job at the Man and become a rock star....
I left that show with a huge smile on my face, the mix of rock, electronic and new wave cannot be beat. Sadly, they have four albums, so I am not an early adopter to their music. But I am darn happy I get to know them now! Check out a few of their videos, and their music.... I simply cannot stop listening to "Help I Am Alive" from their newest Fantasies.
